The Mitras Large 3-Phase Recessed Electricity Meter Box M00036 is a heavy-duty domestic electricity meter enclosure designed specifically to accommodate 3-phase electricity supplies. Its recessed design allows the box to be built neatly into an external wall, providing a secure and professional enclosure for larger 3-phase meter installations.
Manufactured from durable glass reinforced plastic (GRP), the meter box is weather resistant and designed for long-term outdoor use. The GRP construction will not rot or corrode, providing a robust enclosure for external electricity meter installations.
The box features a fitted baseboard for mounting equipment and offers flexible cable entry either through the face of the wall or via the wall cavity. It is also fire retardant to E.S.I. Standard 12-3 and is supplied with a meter box key.
The Mitras M00036 complies with BS 8567:2012 requirements for outdoor electricity meter cupboards.

Installation
The Mitras M00036 is designed for recessed installation into an external wall. The required brickwork opening measures 475mm wide x 700mm high x 145mm deep. Cable entry can be made through the face of the wall or via the cavity, providing flexibility for different installation requirements.

Replacement Door
A replacement door is available separately for this meter box. The Mitras M00037 replacement door measures 509mm wide x 737mm high.
