The Mitras 910006 Aluminium Architrave Overbox is designed as a repair solution for an existing recessed gas or electricity meter box. It fits to the inside of the existing meter box, allowing a damaged or unsightly outer enclosure to be replaced without removing the complete recessed box.
Manufactured from white powder-coated aluminium, the Mitras IS5006 measures approximately 455mm wide x 600mm high x 70mm deep and is supplied with fixings.
This architrave-style overbox should not be confused with face-fix models that attach directly to the surrounding brickwork. Before ordering, check the existing meter box opening and dimensions carefully to ensure compatibility.

Installation
The Mitras 910006 Architrave Overbox is screwed onto the inside of the existing recessed gas or electricity meter box. This differs from face-fix overboxes that are secured directly to the brickwork surrounding the meter box.
