The Mitras 910002 Aluminium Architrave Overbox is designed to provide a practical repair solution for an existing recessed meter box. Rather than fixing to the surrounding brickwork, this architrave-style overbox is screwed onto the inside of the existing recessed meter box, providing a new outer door and frame.
Manufactured from white powder-coated aluminium, the Mitras IS5002 measures approximately 414mm wide x 600mm high x 65mm deep and is supplied with the required fixings. The design is suitable for compatible recessed meter box installations where the existing enclosure remains in place but the external appearance or door requires repair or improvement.
A brown version of this overbox is also available under product code IS5055, model 910021.

Installation
The Mitras 910002 Architrave Overbox is screwed onto the inside of the existing recessed meter box. Unlike face-fix and universal overboxes that attach to the surrounding brickwork, this model uses the existing meter box opening for installation.
