STANDARD FLUSH FITTED (BUILT-IN) ELECTRIC METER BOX

The most popular electric meter box, the standard flush fitted electric meter box houses any domestic electric meter and is designed to mirror the standard built-in gas meter box. With customer choice of cable entry positions this universal version can be used in any area of the UK. Overall size: 409mm wide x 595mm high x 210mm deep. Brickwork opening: 365mm x 535mm x 150mm. STANDARD FIRE RETARDANT FLUSH FITTED ELECTRIC METER BOX
Model No: M35059

The standard "Fire Retardant" flush fitted electric meter box is manufactured to BS476 part 7 Class 2 and houses any domestic electric meter. It may be used in some circumstances, eg internally, we recommend that you check with your local building control/fire office as to their specific requirements. MEDIUM FLUSH FITTED (BUILT-IN) ELECTRIC METER BOX

Larger than the standard box, as usually required in the Manweb electricity area, the Medium flush fitted electric meter box houses any domestic electric meter. Cable entry can only be through the building cavity as the external protrusion is smaller than the standard box. Overall size: 485mm wide x 685mm high x 210mm deep. FIRE RETARDANT MEDIUM FLUSH FITTED ELECTRIC METER
Model No: M35048

If required internally, eg in common staircases of apartments, the medium flush fitted electric meter box is manufactured to BS476 Part 7 Class 2 for fire performance. SLIMLINE FLUSH FITTED (BUILT-IN) ELECTRIC METER BOX

Taller but narrower than the standard box, being just one brick wide, this box is popular with developers of smaller houses with limited wall space available for meter housings and is extensively used by Geo. Manufactured in a ‘milk chocolate’ brown colour, this version of the standard flushfitted electric meter box is less obtrusive against red brick than the standard white box. LARGE FLUSH FITTED (BUILT-IN) ELECTRIC METER BOX

Specifically designed to house a 3-phase metre installation, the large flush fitted electric meter box is manufactured to ESI Standard 12-3 for external use only. This new design has the versatility of cable entry through the wall cavity, as previous, or surface entry through the specially designed architrave. SHALLOW FLUSH FITTED (BUILT-IN) ELECTRIC METER BOX

Similar in size and appearance to the standard box, the shallow box has a depth of just 120mm making it suitable for most timber frame developments and has a moulded in ramp for the entry of the cabling and cut-out mounting. Overall size: 415mm wide x 615mm wide x 190mm deep. Brickwork opening: 345mm x 535mm x 120mm. Hockey stick available from Builders Merchants only. MK2 Surface Mounted Electric Meter Box
Product Code: IS0050   Model No: M60000

The Mk2 version has been introduced due to demand for a smaller version of the surface mounted electric meter box and matches the Mk2 surface mounted gas meter box. Unlike the Mk1 versions, the cover can be removed in order to facilitate easy fitting and maintenance of the box and the meter installation. 408mm wide x 503mm high x 224mm deep.
